  • “Quillen Manor was very nice inside. They had activities, a community room, a nice dining room (they just had a new chef), and games like bingo. The lady that toured me around was also nice. They had a beauty salon, laundry service, housekeeping service, and a bus that would take them to doctor’s appointments or wherever they needed to go. The rooms were nice. They have rocking chairs out on the front porch and little areas outback where they can go out to sit and read. Everything was clean.”

  • “I am so happy to have found a home for my mother. As the nurse there says, ‘it’s her home away from home.’ The staff members are fantastic. They really care about everyone and it shows.”

  • “Quillen Manor assisted living has been an answer to our prayers. My grandmother, originally apprehensive and even resistant to moving to a nursing center, loves her community. We take her out and she wants to know when she’s going back because the staff will worry. It warms our heart to know they love our grandma so much and she loves them.”

  • “Quillen Manor has superseded our expectations. I could not ask for more and they could not give more as they give their absolute all to love my mother like their own. I do not live in town so I’m only able to visit a few times a month. They are very good with communicating to me anytime there is a change, new medicine added, the doctor or nurse sees my mom for a visit, if she needs something, etc. I mean really anything. This gives me such peace of mind and I am so forever grateful for all of them. Our whole family is.”

  • “We toured Quillen Manor. We thought it was a beautiful place. It was nice because it was on one level, and it was a beautiful place inside and out. The lady was pleasant. She was nice and informative. We looked at one apartment. It was beautiful, wonderful. She gave us some information and some literature.”

  • “Quillen Manor was very nice. It’s a small facility, which is good. I have nothing bad to say about it. The staff was very nice and very helpful. Everything’s very clean. It smelled good. It looked good. The rooms were nice sized. I only looked at semi-private rooms. I didn’t look at private rooms because I’m not sure that mom’s going to get enough from the VA to accommodate a private room, but they do have both. They have a beauty shop, a salon, community activities, and they do manicures and stuff. They had the games and all that sort of thing that the roommates enjoy. They have a gazebo area. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s nice and it’s clean. The yard was all cleaned up. The one person that walked me through was great. It’s not a new facility. It’s got a little bit of age on it, but it’s fine.”
